Posted: February 26, 2021

Bob Gossett, executive director of Safe Homecare in Denver, and Tarrah Lowry, CEO of Sangre De Cristo Hospice & Palliative Care in Pueblo, are the new president and secretary, respectively of the Home Care & Hospice Association of Colorado.

HHAC's board chose Gossett to fill the unexpired term of Nancy Stokes, and Lowry was chosen to fill Gossett's vacancy. Board members thanked Stokes for her service to the association and to home care and hospice in Colorado. Gossett and Lowry will serve in their positions through May 2022.

Gossett has worked nearly 20 years for home care agencies in and around Denver. He has been an HHAC board member since 2016. He received his BA in Business Administration and Marketing from Michigan State University in 1997.

Lowry has more than a decade of progressive health care leadership and has been the president and chief executive officer at Sangre de Cristo Community Care since 2016 after serving in a number of senior leadership roles, including operations, compliance and business development. She has been on HHAC's board since 2020, and she served on the board of the Hospice & Palliative Care Association of the Rockies, HHAC's predecessor organization, before that. She has a BS in Business Administration and Health Care Management from Colorado Technical University.

The Home Care & Hospice Association of Colorado represents home-care agencies and hospice organizations throughout Colorado. It was formed in early 2020 from the merger of the Home Care Association of Colorado and the Hospice & Palliative Care Association of the Rockies. It operates from offices in Aurora, Colorado.
