DENVER -- Denver-based Colorado Elder Care Solutions (CECS) has entered into a definitive agreement to join Family Tree In-Home Care, a Genova Health company. The CECS transaction closed on Aug. 15, 2018. Under the terms of the agreement, CECS will offer home care and care management services under the Family Tree In-Home Care brand, as will Home Care Resources, which isn't an HCAC member.

"We are confidently committed to serving the Colorado market and carrying on the legacy of these two storied companies. This enables us to firmly establish ourselves as the premier provider of home care and care management services in Denver, Colorado," stated Daniel Gottschalk, President of Family Tree and Genova Health. "We are proud to bring two exceptional companies together to work towards a shared mission."

"With over 40 years between them of faithfully serving older adults in the Denver Metropolitan Area, Colorado Elder Care Solutions and Home Care Resources have each maintained a reputation as a top-tier provider of home care and care management services," stated Alex Bonetti, CEO of Family Tree and Genova Health. "Adding the years of experience and expertise at CECS and HCR to the team at Family Tree aligns with our strategy of investing in becoming the leading solution to serve clients wherever they call home. We're looking forward to working with our new colleagues from both teams to further our mission of providing Better Care. Better Health. Every Day."

"I am very excited to enter this new chapter in the evolution of Colorado Elder Care Solutions," shared Karen Buchanan, President of CECS. "When I formed CECS over 19 years ago to serve older adults in our Denver community, I never imagined how far we'd take it. Today, we've only just begun to realize our full potential. I've always held Shirley Jennett and the team at HCR in high esteem, and I'm thrilled to work alongside them and help lead our combined organization into the next chapter."
